Pharmacy is one of the most important discipline for health care system, this profession has assumed new dimensions and a significant role in the emergence of highly developed production skills in Pharmaceutical industry, thus creating ever expanding need for the absorption of pharmacy graduates. The faculty of pharmacy, Jinnah Sindh Medical University is a newly established faculty with an elaborate undergraduate (Pharm.D) and latter a postgraduate (M.Phil, Ph.D) programme.

Keeping in view the guidelines provided by Pharmacy council of Pakistan and Higher Education Commission, the faculty is now pursuing a programme of education and practical training in community oriented Clinical Pharmacy. Industrial Pharmacy, Forensic Pharmacy, Drug Administration and drug related laws as well as other disciplines of the field. The main objective of the programme is to prepare Pharmacist to serve healthcare system to promote the effective use of drugs with commitment and dedication to cater the needs of our society in the area of prevention and human well being with utmost zeal. We pray to bless our endeavors in this noble cause (Ameen).
