This public sector college is accredited for post graduate training with College of Physician and Surgeans Pakistan (CPSP) and recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC). The name of the college has been listed in the WHO directory of International Medical Colleges and the degree is recognized all over the world.        The first batch of MBBS Students was admitted in April 1999 with enrollment of 50 students on open merit amongst the joint merit list of provincial admission committee.The first batch qualified in the year 2003. The college has an excellent staff both in Clinical and Basic Medical Science Departments. The graduates and post graduates of the college are working in the country and abroad. We at SMC strive to inculcate in our students the meaning and love of humanitarian services, learning and care to the patients. To come up to the objective of establishment of teaching institute, this has been proved by the students of this college by qualifying FCPS in various disciplines and other competitive examinations both nationally and internationally.
