College of Nursing, D.G.Khan Medical College, Dera Ghazi Khan (CON, DGKMC, Dera Ghazi Khan) is ready to enroll the candidates for Generic BSN (4 years) in the coming session (2020-23). Currently, in D.G.Khan Medical College, Dera Ghazi Khan, the Nursing Education was focused on the General Nursing diploma program. The College of Nursing will be an avenue towards Higher Education in Nursing for the women of Punjab. The Generic BSN is a 4-years professional education program leading to the ability to practice as a Degree Holder Registered Nurse. D.G.Khan Medical College have all the latest resources for teaching/learning activities and provide Golden opportunities to students for class room /clinical teaching through dedicated and expert members of Health care team.

Overall aims of Generic BSN(4 years) program are to produce Nurses who can apply a multidisciplinary move toward Nursing practice through an integrated Educational approach This program will enable them to implement their knowledge and skills within the ever-changing context of Health Care Industry.

The degree program will promote integrated Nursing knowledge, skills and professional attitude. Upon completion of this program, the graduate will be prepared as a safe Nurse clinician, who will be able to provide comprehensive Health Care at primary, secondary and tertiary levels within the hospitals and in community settings.
