Description

It is a matter of great honor for me to be entrusted with the challenging task of leading the University of Poonch located in the scenic pearl valley , Rawalakot . As a new university, I am fully aware of the need of the students and its faculty. No stone will be left unturned to provide the best learning and working environment on the campus. Universities in the 21Ist century has been confronted with new challenges, it is a century of knowledge economy and the innovators will hold the key to prosperity. We have to take steps in the right direction to catch up in this race. As the world, has become a global village and one cannot live in isolation, therefor we will be looking for partners both in the east and the west. Faculty and students exchange programs will be encouraged. The role of Alumni will be explored for improving academics, fund generation and internationalization of their Alma matter. We believe that our youth has the requisite potential and our aim is to realize this potential by imparting meaningful education to have a happy and prosperous community.
