Description

Thirty years ago, an agriculture college was established at Rawalakot; since then it has progressed and now achieved status of a complete University. For me, it is a dream coming true and nothing gives me more pride and comfort than seeing University of Poonch Rawalakot came into being and be the second chancellor of UPR. I am confident that the university will help in human resource development of the region and impart educational &research skills to the future generations. It is envisaged that under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Emeritus M. Rasul Jan PoP, SI  as Vice Chancellor of the University of Poonch Rawalakot and his competent faculty and administration team the new institution will flourish and attain international standards.I hope the university will excel in research and quality education to reach a prominent status at global level and contribute to the society by carving a disciplined, educated and skilled human resource.
