Introduction of Program

The BS Biomedical Sciences course at University of Health Sciences has been designed to provide the students firm grounding in molecular, cellular and human biology subjects forming the basis of modern medicine and related biological sciences. The course is truly interdisciplinary in nature that provides students an opportunity to study a wide range of subjects including human anatomy; human physiology; biochemistry; genetics, pathological basis of disease, microbiology, immunology, pharmacology and forensic sciences. The distinctive aspect of this course, combining basic biological sciences with basic medical sciences, provides the intellectual tools and scientific proficiency students will need to succeed in advanced studies or career in the health related fields
