Description

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) under guidance of the Board of Directors is providing opportunities to the talented but needy students to fulfill their dreams and aspirations and at the same time to become partner in the development and welfare of Pakistan.The PEEF, since its inception in 2009 has awarded more than 374,000 scholarships to students of Punjab and other provinces which are currently pursuing education through public and private sector institutions and Centre of Excellence like LUMS, NUST, FAST, IBA Karachi, GIKI Swabi, etc. These scholarships have been awarded for pursuing:
Secondary
Intermediate
Graduation
Master’s
Ph.D
As on 30th Sept. 2019, the PEEF has awarded 370,000 scholarships worth Rs. 19.40 billion. Furthermore, with the inclusion of current year’s scholarships (2019-20), the total number of scholarships awarded will be raised to more than 385,000.
Applications are invited from eligible male and female Pakistani Nationals who have secured admission in Top 50 QS ranked (subject wise) universities of the world.

Eligibility Criteria

Students applying for CMMS should have:

Valid PhD admission offer from one of the Top 50 QS Ranked (subject wise) universities of the world, in preferred subject areas.
Not less than 60% marks throughout the academic career.
Declared monthly family income (including self, spouse and parents) is equal to or less than Rs. 200,000/-.
Maximum age of 35 years on 12 May, 2020.
Not availed any foreign scholarship in the past.
How to Apply

Secure admission in Top 50 QS Ranked (subject wise) Universities of the world in the preferred subject areas as mentioned above.
The scholarship application form can be downloaded from www.peef.org.pk/cmms.html
Send duly filled application form to PEEF within due date.
Last Date for the Receipt of Applications in PEEF Office is 12 May, 2020.

Note

Students may not defer the scholarship to the next year.
Existing permanent/regular faculty members of public sector teaching / educational institutions of Pakistan are not eligible to apply for Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS) program.
Preference shall be given to the students having Punjab domicile; however, a special quota has also been allocated for other provinces including AJK, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), FATA and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
To get admission in the university and apply for the visa is the responsibility of the applicant. The decision of the Scholarship Selection Committee shall be final.
PEEF reserves the rights to reject any application or call off the whole selection process without assigning any reason.
